It just makes everyone too anxious when we are teased with warm weather through the winter months. You have some great examples here Sue. We always pay big for a warm March...give me a regular winter with loads of protective snow and a normal slow melt through mid-April.Donna@Gardens Eye Viewhttp://gardenseyeview.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-724778346902655607.post-86450145976043493972016-04-26T15:40:16.017-07:002016-04-26T15:40:16.017-07:00Maybe bring an entry. I just loved it too.
Your stumpery sounds wonderful with the ferns and woodland plants. A very nice garden for fairies and 'kindred spirits'! And fairy gardens have become so popular recently, too. Thanks for commenting.
Sue Linkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07190179382458092983noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-724778346902655607.post-51948321412462482402016-04-16T15:53:41.003-07:002016-04-16T15:53:41.003-07:00Oh, I love your Peter Pan statue, absolutely gorge...Oh, I love your Peter Pan statue, absolutely gorgeous. Lots of nice ideas in your post, I have been looking for something for my new garden but find it hard to get something for a budget my wallet agrees with! In the end I turned upside down some of the big roots I dug out and used them as a small stumpery with ferns and woodland plants – absolutely free :-)HELENEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16112289914239038835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-724778346902655607.post-82853797703794694652016-04-13T17:48:48.728-07:002016-04-13T17:48:48.728-07:00Yes, you have some beautiful Yard Art and I always...Yes, you have some beautiful Yard Art and I always enjoy your photos! I hope you're able to locate a garden head planter like that. I saw that one pictured above at the Garden Show in Winter Garden, Florida. I'll try to see if I can find out the name of the vendor that was selling them and forward you the information. I can see it has moved east as well. The tires are really cute and quite whimsical. They would win in our Lewiston Gardenfest container contest. The prizes are worth it too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
